    Its working principle follows a strict constant-volume, no-internal-compression mechanism: two three-lobe rotors housed inside a rigid, precision-machined casing are driven by external, high-accuracy timing gears that keep the two rotors rotating in perfect opposite synchronization, maintaining a tiny, consistent operating clearance between the lobes, as well as between the rotors and the casing inner walls and end plates, so no metal-to-metal contact ever occurs during operation. As each lobe sweeps past the inlet port, a fixed, completely sealed pocket of air or process gas is trapped between the rotor, casing wall and end face; the rotating rotor carries this trapped gas pocket around the full inner perimeter of the casing with zero change to its volume.
