A Big Roots Blower is a heavy-duty, large-flow positive displacement rotary lobe air-handling unit, purpose-built for high-capacity 24/7 industrial operations to deliver steady, 100% oil-free airflow at low to medium working pressures, far exceeding the flow capacity of standard small and medium-sized Roots blowers. It adopts a reinforced, rigid casing structure, oversized precision rotors and heavy-load bearing assemblies, to handle continuous high-volume air delivery without performance degradation.

    Its working principle follows the classic no-internal-compression volumetric logic: two large, precision-synchronized counter-rotating tri-lobe rotors trap substantial fixed pockets of gas at the inlet, carry the sealed gas volume around the reinforced casing perimeter at constant volume, and build discharge pressure externally when the trapped air meets the system back-pressure at the discharge port. Strict non-contact clearances maintained by high-precision timing gears eliminate any metal-to-metal friction, ensuring zero oil contamination in the conveyed process gas.
